Ma Eng-jeou is a god.

Ma Eng-jeou is a demon.

Chen Shui-pian is corrupt.

It’s all political persecution.

We are our respective viewpoints always so opposing?

There’s no way around this. One side prefers to view Taiwanese media, and the other side likes to watch Chinese media…who knows which side’s media is more accurate?

At least we know which country specializes in making dangerous pirated products, right?

Can’t find a job

January 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Today’s Liberty Times had a line of Taiwanese in its front page caption. Under the picture, it reads:

找沒頭路, 日子怎樣過

The first clause is Taiwanese written in Mandarin characters and reads:

chhōe bô thâu-lō· (Can’t find a job)

After 5/20, Ma will take office, and Taiwan will change a lot.

The biggest change will be that most of the media won’t continue to be so nasty (“black-hearted”) toward the government and president.

In that case we can console ourselves that the nasty media will turn into the upright (“white-hearted”) media, huh?

No!

It’ll turn into the “disgusting” media.

The former President’s daughter-in-law was hounded by the media for so long, and she just lost it.

She couldn’t control herself (Literally: she lost self-control)…you really have to sympathize with her.

Those bloodsuckers in the media are really bastards.

In that case, you should sympathize with the media even more.  Their need to suck blood is even harder for them to control!
